"Learning through play is the Honeydew way!"
Honeydew School celebrated Raksha Bandhan with warmth, colour, and creativity, as students came together to embrace this beautiful festival that celebrates the bond of love and protection between siblings. The classrooms buzzed with excitement as little hands got busy crafting and colouring their way through the festivities.
Students got hands-on with the festival's spirit, creating their very own rakhis using simple materials, colourful threads, and a lot of imagination. Each handmade rakhi, though unique in its own way, carried the same heartfelt intention — making the day feel extra special.
Alongside crafting, students also enjoyed a colouring activity, filling in rakhi sketches and festival-themed pictures with bright, cheerful colours. Little fingers worked carefully within the lines, and the results were a beautiful, colourful display of creativity that filled the classrooms.
The celebration reached its heartwarming peak as students tied rakhis on each other's wrists, recreating the essence of sibling love right within their friendships. The smiles, laughter, and gentle care with which they tied each rakhi were a lovely reflection of the values this festival stands for.
At Honeydew School, we believe festivals like Raksha Bandhan are wonderful opportunities for children to understand love, care, and togetherness beyond the classroom. Watching our students craft, colour, and celebrate with such joy was a beautiful reminder of the simple magic of childhood.
